About the Editor
Nitish Kumar is Associate Professor at the Department of Biotechnology, Central University of South Bihar, Gaya, Bihar, India. He completed his doctoral research at CSIR–Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Bhavnagar, Gujarat. He has published over 100 research articles in leading international journals, more than 25 book chapters, and 25 books with Springer and Taylor & Francis. Dr. Kumar is a recipient of the Young Scientist Award from the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) in 2014 and has received grants from CSIR, DBT, ICAR, SERB-DST, and BRNS-BARC. He serves as Associate Editor of the journal Gene (Elsevier).
