Description

Timely managerial accounting textbook with coverage of artificial intelligence, automation, and analytics.

Recent developments in technology are transforming the field of managerial accounting. In Managerial Accounting: Principles, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence, readers learn to identify, measure, analyze, interpret, and communicate financial and operational information for internal decision-making, with a focus on the crossover between managerial accounting and information systems, artificial intelligence, and automation.

Along with foundational topics—job order costing, cost behavior and cost-volume-profit analysis, and planning and budgeting for operations—the book includes real-world business examples showing how managers use accounting to plan and decide. Ancillary materials on a companion website make this a complete “course in a box.”

For undergraduates in business and accounting programs, this is an up-to-date textbook on essential managerial accounting, featuring the latest technologies transforming the field.
